Business Objects Books and Training Manuals

Schmidt Ink, through Robert Schmidt, has been writing successful books on Business Objects since 1994. We believe in a hands-on, focused approach to learning and reference. All of our books are dedicated to a specific task – Report or Universe design. Numerous books on the market are so unbelievably convoluted from trying to cover too many topics, that no comprehensive learning can be achieved on any single topic.

For example, a report writer does not have to know how to install Business Objects, which can be a significant portion of an all encompassing book. In addition, many authors are only proficient in one or two areas of an application. When a publisher forces these authors to write a book on the entire Business Objects suite, then end product is a book strong in a few areas and weak in many.

Business Objects Computer-Based Training
