Schmidt Ink was founded by Robert Schmidt in 2001, shortly after 9/11 forced him to move from New York City. Prior to 9/11, Schmidt Ink was known as Schmidt Interactive, which was founded in 1993.

Schmidt Ink was formed with one goal – to provide the very best Business Objects training and reference material, effective training, and competent consulting. Throughout the years, we have always adhered to these goals. This tenacity has created many satisfied clients and readers.

Schmidt Ink is based in San Diego, CA, which is where we do most of our consulting and training.
