At Schmidt Ink, we take our training seriously and we try to provide a very professional service that is delivered by experienced trainers. We even train using our own books that are written by Robert Schmidt – the author of Creating Documents with BusinessObjects. In addition to great training material and experience trainers, we also give each student a CBT (computer-based training) CD that can be used as a reference long after the class is over.

At Schmidt Ink, our goal is to actually make sure that you learn how to use BusinessObjects. Our courses are practical and thorough. We also provide continuing support after the class, by answering any emails that students may send us.

Since we write all of our own manuals, we are able to customize the courses to your company’s needs. We can do this by using your data in the examples and/or adding new slides to support in-house technology.

Onsite Business Objects Training

When we come to your office, we deliver the course in your corporate training center. Our trainers are flexible and able to work in most environments. They are very knowledgeable and are able to answer most questions, as our trainers have been consultants for many years.

Virtual Business Objects Training

We offer virtual training to companies that have employees dispersed over wide geographic regions. These classes are very effective and maybe even better than having all the students in a physical location. The reason that they are so effective is that the instructor is able to share a student’s screen with the rest of the class. This allows redundancy, which reinforces the examples. We only offer virtual training to larger companies with conference call capabilities. We have several large companies as clients and we train 100’s of student throughout the world through virtual training.

Business Objects Training in San Diego

We have a small training room in San Diego where we train up to four students at a time. These classes are phenomenal, because the combination of a small class size and experience instructor create a very effective learning environment. These classes are usually scheduled by companies that want to train three to four employees. We guarantee that this is the best available training for Web Intelligence, Desktop Intelligence and Designer.

Computer-Based Business Objects Training

Computer-based training can be highly productive if the CBT is combined with a great text and presented with a user-friendly interface. Our CBT meets both these criteria. The text has been used to create thousands of competent business objects’ professionals. The CBT interface was created by Schmidt Ink to present the videos in an intuitive manner that allows student to effortlessly browse the topics.

Our training rates are as follows:

Onsite Training: $2,500 per day, plus traveling expenses.
Virtual Training: $2,500 per day, plus $300 per night for international classes (Europe, India, and Asia).
Plus shipping charges for the books. Many times, we ship to one location, and then the company distributes the manuals to the students.
San Diego Training Center: $500 per student, per day.
Computer-based training: $100 per package (manual and CBT CD).
CBT may be installed on a server, if all students accessing the CBT purchase a package.
